In addition to working as a Professional Speaker, Richard is very committed to raising the standards of speaking in the UK.  In 1998 he led a team of similarly motivated professional speakers to set up a Professional Speakers Association. becoming its first President in 1999. 

The PSA now runs regular meetings throughout the UK where professional speakers help each other to raise standards and and share business ideas.  Following his year as President, Richard has now taken on responsibility for developing chapters in France, Belgium, Ireland, Holland and other European countries.  He is a council members of the International Federation for Professional Speaking and a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association in the USA. 

Members of the PSA are differentiating themselves from other speakers - All are committed to a strict code of professional conduct and are actively investing in their own personal development. PSA members all earn a significant portion of their income through speaking and add value back to our profession by helping other members.
